Title: Travel Director RN (DON)

Location: Must be willing to travel to Madras, OR
Length: 13 Weeks
Start: As soon as possible
Pay Rate: $60 an hour (negotiable based off experience)

• $413 weekly M/I & $672 weekly housing stipends

Hours: 40 hours per week (M-F 8am to 5pm)

Position Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current Oregon RN license in good standing with the State licensing board
• LTC background
• American Heart BLS Certification
• Strong leadership skills

Job description

Position Summary

The nature of the direction and supervision required for this position varies by State and job setting. The qualified Director of Nursing will perform the following:

• Ensuring documentation in the nursing center meets Federal, State, and Certification guidelines.
• Leading and supervising the nursing unit, staff development, and hiring/firing
• Implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
• Business planning and budget for the nursing unit
• Strong and driven personality with excellent communication skills and capable of working independently.

Other Responsibilities

• Completes requiredorientation as directed by facility
• Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment
• Follows facility and Hamilton Unusual Occurrence Protocol
• Respects cultural and religious practices of patients
• Upholds HIPAA regulations
• Punctual and dependent for assigned/confirmed shifts
