Hiring Rural Carrier Associate (RCA)
Non Career Part-Time Postal Position
Salary $19.06/HR.
Desirable candidates are dependable and can work efficiently to sort and deliver mail and effective customer service.
RCAs sort, deliver and collect mail on foot or by vehicle under varying road and weather conditions and maintain professional and effective public relations with customers and others.
Newly hired candidates will complete a Rural Carrier Training Academy to learn postal laws, regulations, products and procedures and will receive on the job training to learn the delivery route.
This is a non-career position, which lead to a career position. Time frame depends on organizational needs.
Health Insurance:
New RCAs are eligible to enroll in the USPS Health Benefits Program provided by United Health Care.
Coverage is available for Self Only, Self Plus One Family Member, or Self and all family members.
Cost per pay period is dependent upon type of coverage:
Self Only: $63.00
Self Plus One: $149.80
Self and Family: $212.10
Pay Raises:
Automatic pay increases. Increases typically include general wage increases as specified by the USPS/Rural Carrier national agreement.
