Advantage XPO is currently searching for Utility Specialist for PaperWorks Industries, a leading manufacturer of paperboard and packaging solutions. This position will be based in their Baldwinsville, NY location.

Summary
Performs various tasks related to loading or moving material or finished product or operating support equipment for press or diecutter
Responsibilities

• May prepare rolls of paper for feeding to press or die cutter and document roll usage
• May move material and/or stretchwrap finished product utilizing powered pallet trucks
• May prepare and move sheeted stock to the press or die cutter
• May participate in setup and adjustment of press or die cutter feeder section
• May load sheeted stock into press or die cutter infeed system
• May operate an aerator to flip and jog sheeted stock
• May move sheeted material between several work centers
• Follows detailed inspection standards.
• Makes minor adjustments to equipment as necessary to maintain quality.
• Participates in make-readies
• Performs other duties as required
• Responsible for operating within policies & procedures, and maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements; including compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures.

Salary Range:
$18 hourly
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing and forklift experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret information, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
