Visual Coordinator plans, trains, and coordinates the activities of the Visual Department. Works with store management on the design, development, and application of visual standards. Must lead by example and be an exemplary role model to all field team members.

Essential Job Functions:

Include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads specific markets of stores to ensure they are being maintained per company visual standards.
  • Acts in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image, and target marketing.
  • Conducts thorough store visits & walkthroughs to provide feedback to management & visibility to multi level leaders while encouraging accountability & progress.
  • Provides clarity to the field team on all Visual standards, guidelines, & fixture/store layout to create appealing visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store.
  • Identifies and utilizes strong problem solving skills to communicate visual issues at store level to Visual Director & Visual Manager.
  • Communicates any merchandise needs for each store to the Visual Director, Visual Manager, and Buying Department.
  • Relationship building qualities to create solid partnerships with DM/RM through regular communication (weekly conference calls, bi-weekly virtual touch bases, & consistent store visits).
  • Responsible for personal time management. Expectations are:
  • Quarterly visits to all stores within assigned territory.
  • Coordinates 1-on-1 training of all store managers in their region.
  • Facilitates Visual Training Workshops w/ all support management.
  • Monitor costs & works within a travel budget.
  • Store Opening Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of employees on visual best practices for a successful store opening
  • Set up the layout, concepts, & overall aesthetics of the store
  • Scheduling flexibility is required
  • Collaborates and creates company wide directives when applicable.
  • Researches upcoming trends and competitor shopping on a regular basis

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Willing to travel independently up to 75% of time and drive daily to assigned stores within their market.
  • Be accountable for company assets: Company phone/Ipad, laptop, corporate credit card, & store keys
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Must be reliable and established track record of trustworthiness
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports
  • Min. 2 years of mgmt. experience
  • Computer aptitude with willingness to learn new skills

Physical Demands: Frequently stands, walks, observes, communicates and reads. Regularly moves and pushes. Counts and writes to accurately complete documentation. Must be able to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing from 0-25 pounds and work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. Environment is fast paced and indoor temperature conditions apply.
