As a Vocational Assistant, you will assist adults with mild to moderate disabilities inside the work center with a variety of jobs. You will foster their vocational development by providing compassion, support, instruction, and supervision.

Responsibilities

· Work cohesively with the Pantheon Vocational Team colleagues to foster a complete success plan for clients-employees

· Observe workers' skills, offer positive reinforcement, and identify areas for improvement

· Be an advocate for the individuals where you will counsel and coach them regarding workplace matters

· Maintain daily job logs and production reports

· Valid driver's license required

· Driving and doing a transportation route in a company vehicle is required

Qualifications

· No previous experience in working with disabled individuals needed, just your desire to support and train others

· Candidates must be able to pass a background check

· A valid driver's license is required along with proof of insurance

· High school diploma or GED is required

· Possess a positive attitude with good communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, coworkers, management, and others both positively and constructively
