United Support Services, Inc., founded in 2003, is an innovative engineering and technology business headquartered in San Diego, CA has an exciting new opportunity and is currently looking to add a Warehouse Specialist to our Warehouse team to support our facility on the Naval Air Station Lemoore in California. This position will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for performing various warehouse functions. USS offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits! **Must be able to pass a government background check to obtain access to a military base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fulfills orders, package items for shipment and arrange delivery pickups.
• Responsible for the loading and unloading of materials and products, as well as verifying the quantity of items received against invoices.
• Maintain detailed shipping and receiving logs to account for all materials that enter and leave the warehouse.
• Physically restock shelves, and also responsible for organizing how and where materials are stored.
• Creating an efficient system and keeping a clean warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels in the warehouse and process orders when supplies become low or run out.
• Occasional travel to Naval Air Station Fallon may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Military warehouse experience, military aircraft parts, or military aircraft maintenance experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Desired Qualifications:

• Successful candidate must be able to pass a background check to work onboard the Naval Air Station.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System or performing warehouse duties.
• Must be able to obtain license to use MHE within 30 days of selection.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be a good communicator and multitasker to successfully manage day-to-day operations at a busy warehouse.
• Valid driver’s license required.
