JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs the duties of the Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) Warehouse Specialist and works under general supervision of the ISSA Supervisor; direct supervision of the Supply Technician Lead and Warehouse Specialist Lead of the Schofield Barracks, AFSBn-HAW, Tech Systems Inc. on a U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) logistics contract. Support company management which requires a solid working knowledge of army supply procedures and policies. Coordinate with other internal and external contract locations and military customers to ensure operational requirements and needs are identified and met in accordance with army regulations, performance work statement (PWS), and company policies. This position performs general warehouse supply management work and limited technical supply chain management work to include asset requisition, receipt, holding, inventory, issue, redistribution, classification, turn-in, maintaining hand receipts, reconciliations, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization related to depot, local, or other sustainment service activities. Adhere to contract Performance Work statement (PWS), Army regulations, company standards and policies, and respective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • As directed, perform a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the contract and facilities storage, safety, accountability, and physical security plan.
  • Provide support to U.S. Active Duty, U.S. Army National Guard, Reserve Components, and training requirements in accordance with governing directives utilizing the prescribed Automated Information Systems (AIS) programs of record to include but not limited to: Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A), Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS), the Subsistence Total Order Receipt Electronic System (STORES), Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS) and various vendor contracts.

DEPARTMENT: Supply Support Activity (SSA) Announcement #21-0013 Perform and maintain requisitions, receipts, storing, issuing, inventorying, accounting, inspecting, turn-in, and conduct disposal functions of supply commodities (Class I, II, IIIP, IV, limited V, VII, limited VIII, and IX).

  • Verify supply commodities (Class I, II, IIIP, IV, limited V, VII, limited VIII, and IX) against receiving documents, noting/reporting discrepancies, housekeeping, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed methods, shipment preparations in accordance with regulatory guidelines, rearranging, examining stored supply commodities and reporting deterioration/damage (if required).
  • As directed, support contract support requirements in job-related areas such as housekeeping (internal and external), environmental, safety, and security.
  • Position involves working primarily in an indoor environment and additionally, surge to outdoor environment which will occur as directed and will include periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions and will require the operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in performing various warehousing functions.
  • Be able to lift 50+ lbs., pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
  • Utilize hand tools, powered equipment/tools, MHE, and relevant office equipment: copier and facsimile machine.
  • Operate Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) at a basic level and various Automated Information Technology (AIT) functions.
  • Conform with and abide by all federal, state and U.S. Army regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

Must be a U.S. citizen. Paid relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance or clearly state a willingness to relocate his or herself.
