Warp Staging - 2nd Shift Job at VALDESE WEAVERS LLC
Job Summary: Prepare warps for looms and store when not being used.
Tools Used: Scissors, tape, stripe separator, trakker-scanner, and warp lifts.
Essential Functions: Perform the following duties in accordance with ISO work instructions and standards.
Lease assigned warps as they come off the slasher.
Put warps in designated staging area.
Put beams in their appropriate places after leasing.
Keep warp inventory accurate.
Maintain the upkeep of the lease picking machine and the warp stage area.
Scan warps, and download on computer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Cut off bad warps.
Drill out broken bolts.
Work scheduled overtime.
Safety:
Report all job related injuries to the supervisor immediately.
Report any safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Actively participate in safety programs which identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by the Company.
Maintain 5 S standards.
Ear Protection required in weave room at all times
