In this role the Web Content Authoring Coordinator will be responsible for making updates to the website, resizing and uploading product images, and various reporting needs. This person will collaborate with the entire Digital Marketing team and will utilize tools, such as TYPO3, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, and Workfront. The ideal candidate will have experience working within various CMS platforms and is interested in learning new skills relating to digital work. You will have an educational background in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. The objective of this role is to ensure the website has accurate information and is user friendly.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Works within the current CMS to make updates to the site, including building landing pages, updating images, editing product descriptions, etc.
  • Collaborates with various departments by assisting with website requests and pulling data from our analytics platform to create reports.
  • Resizes and optimizes images for web upload using Photoshop.
  • Collaborates and communicates with agency partners on feedback for weekly updates to various pages on the site.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of Customer Interaction team and assigned topics.
  • Collaborates with Customer Interaction department on projects and tasks requiring cross-department deliverables.
  • Proofs, edits and implements deliverables.
  • Escalates issues proactively to their direct leader.
  • Liaises between external agency partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Recommends changes, processes, systems and efficiencies to direct leader.
  • Maintains team ways-of-working including project timelines, meeting agendas, minutes and other relevant business support.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the company to effectively communicate with internal business partners and external vendors.
  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, Liberal Arts or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Marketing, eCommerce, Customer Service, Market Research or related field required.
  • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform duties.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
  • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
