Shift:
8-hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Must pass the welding test
• MIG Welding of primarily Carbon Steel
• TIG Precision Welding (structural & aesthetic) of thin aluminum and stainless steel
• Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding
• Read prints, cut sheets, and work instructions and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
• Position and clamp together components for welding and fabrication using prescribed fixtures and templates
• Operate saws (cold saw, band saw, chop saw, miter), grinders, drills, and a variety of power tools and industrial shop equipment
• Assist with commercial truck chassis modifications and installations and body fabrication and assembly

Job requirements

• MIG welding: 3 years (Required)
• TIG welding: 3 years (Required)
• Welding Certification (Preferred)
• Solid work ethic - show up on time every day, advance notice for missing work, minimal non-productive time (eg excessive phone use), work well with others
• Preferably within a 30-minute commute of Lithia Springs
• Able to pass a background check and a drug screening
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
