Founded in 2003, HHS Construction is a leading provider of infrastructure services to major telecommunications and cable providers primarily in Southern California, and adjacent geographies. HHS Construction’s core capabilities include aerial, underground and substructure self-perform construction; ISP services; wireless services including Small Cell/CRAN installation, utility coordination, turn-key RF testing and maintenance; telecom engineering; placement and splicing of copper, coaxial and fiber optic cables; and pole maintenance. Job Summary:

This position is for work primarily in the Southern California region - Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego Counties. The Wireless Technician will be on a 2–3-man crew responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing wireless cellular systems.


Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Typical scope includes installation of coax, fiber, DC power cables, antennas, radios, grounding, and testing

  • Climbs or utilizes telescopic lift to reach heights exceeding 150’ as well as perform controlled descents and utilize fall restraint systems

  • Makes occasional short-term travels within the states of California, Nevada, and Arizona

  • Abides by HHS and industry safety standards

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

General

  • High school education or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs

  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required

Technical

  • Possess basic computer skills

  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools and mechanical equipment

  • Ability to use measuring and diagnostic tools to test, adjust and repair electronic equipment
