WMS Music Director for WMS Musical (Reposted) Job at Wellesley School District
We have an immediate opening for a Music Director for the WMS Musical "Fiddler on the Roof" This is a stipend position for the Spring of 2023.
Performances: Thursday, March 16 at 4:30pm; Friday, March 17 at 7pm; Saturday, March 18 at 2pm & 7pm
Responsibilities include:
- Attend and co-run auditions Dec 13-14 from 2:45-6:00, callbacks Dec 15 from 2:45-6:00.
- Rehearsal once per week, from 2:30-5:00, on Mondays or Tuesdays (if you can't make it to rehearsal until 3:30ish, we'd ask for two rehearsals per week)
- Attending tech week rehearsals 3/9, 3/10, 3/11, 3/13, 3/14, 3/15 from 3:00-6:00
- Either playing piano for the shows yourself or hiring someone else
- Hiring percussionist for two dress rehearsals and shows (we also have a high school student who we might be able to hire)
Pay is $2579 for the entire production process, plus $300 if you play piano yourself, for a total of $2879.
