After School Program Teacher Job at Acme Education Group, Inc.
Acme Education Group, Inc. offers academic enrichment program for kids from 5yrs - 12 yrs during afterschool hours from 2 pm to 6 pm. We are seeking for a qualified homework tutor for the program.
Homework Tutor Job Responsibilities:
· Assist students in grades K - 6 with their English and math homework.
· Establish and maintain classroom rules and routines.
· Maintain clear and concise Homework Club attendance records.
· Communicate clearly with students and parents.
· Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.
· Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Desire to work with children in a positive attitude.
- Strong knowledge of child behavior and learning patterns.
- Ability to set rules and guidelines for students to follow.
- Ability to work well with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Previous tutoring/teaching experiences is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
