JOB DUTIES

  • Fix the various systems to include the fuel, electrical and hydraulic system.
  • Properly disassemble and repair the engine.
  • Repair the fiberglass, steel and aluminum airframes.
  • Repair and install aircraft subsystem assemblies. Assemblies can include engines, main rotor head, hydraulic pump, transmissions, gearboxes, rotors and mechanical flight controls.
  • Service and lubricate the aircraft system and any related subsystem.
  • Some job functions can include checking for continuity and voltage, completing measurements of equipment and replacing/tightening parts to exact required values.
  • Prepare the aircraft for inspections and any required maintenance checks.
  • Routine inspections include taking oil samples from gear boxes and checking lines for leaks.
  • All maintenance activities will be logged by the Repairer including keeping proper service records and following technical manuals.
  • Any tools used will also be logged and inventoried.
  • The Repairer should be familiar with all tools used and know the specifications for each tool.
  • There will also be times when you have to prepare the aircraft for flight or remove it from storage.

-No Experience: If you have no experience, you will attend our aviation electrician school that will take 16 Weeks Course.

During the 16 Weeks Course will spend in the classroom while also receive a ton of on-the-job experience.

  • Removes, installs, repairs, adjusts and tests electrical and electronic assemblies and components according to technical manuals, directives and safety procedures
  • Cleans, preserves and stores components and aircraft instrument
  • Removes, repairs, services, installs, and troubleshoots nickel cadmium batteries
  • Requisitions and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft.
  • During the course you will receive:
  • All necessary training to operate equipment
  • All necessary training to fix fix winged or rotor aircrafts
  • Will receive Full Time Pay and Benefits throughout the course

Upon completion of the course you will be a Certified Aircraft Mechanic. ***All training will be counted as college credit and matenance hours. Can help you work towards a degree***

Requirements:

  • Must have a ID card (state id preferably)
  • Must be US citizen or Green card holder
  • Must be 17 to 31 Years
  • Must Have High School diploma or higher education.
  • Must not have felonies.
  • No Alcohol or Drug Abuse Incident on Record
  • Must Pass our ASVAB(Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery Test)
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must sign a contract (3 or 4 year contract)
