Assembly Shop Employee (1st or 2nd shift) – DeSoto, TX
Position involves all aspects of the assembly process including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up.
Work hours
We currently have positions available for either 1st shift, or 2nd shift:
· 1st: (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday – Friday/ overtime 1 hour end of shift and 2X Sat 5am-10am @ $17 an hour)
· 2nd: (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday/ overtime 1 hour end of shift and 2X Sun 7am-12pm @ $18.70)
Actual Tasks
Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives, maintain parts/stock between assembly line, parts pulling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping, and general clean up.
· Use calipers, depth, and paint mileage gauges.
· Must visually inspect all work and reword as necessary.
· Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area.
· Monitor the work area for cleanliness.
· Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop.
· Perform other tasks as requested.
