RESPONSIBLE TO: Practice Administrator

JOB SUMMARY: Perform audiological testing for pediatric and adult patients (age 6 months and older), perform hearing aid services for pediatric and adult patients, perform vestibular testing. Cochlear Implant and BAHA experience a plus.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited college or university required

NJ Audiology License required

NJ Hearing Aid Dispensing License required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Strong clinical skills for pediatric and adult diagnostic testing as well as vestibular testing
• Team Player
• Ability to develop effective relationships with patients

• Ability to conduct tests accurately and efficiently
• Neat, professional appearance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and cheerful attitude
• Knowledge of practice management and word processing software
• Familiarity with billing and coding
• Experience in marketing, development and implementation
• Strong hearing aid sales skills
• Ability to supervise and develop employee skills in testing and sales

In addition to regular clinical duties, other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Marketing

• Participate in community events and promotions
• Contribute content for website publication

Other

• Meets with physicians to discuss patient care
• Attends team and staff meetings
• Performs other permanent and/or temporary duties assigned by manager and/or physicians
• Primary location Neptune, NJ. May be called upon to fill in at Holmdel and Manahawkin locations on a temporary basis.
• Rotational Saturdays will be scheduled for all Audiologists
