Bar Manager/Bartender Job at Peddlers Pub at Radisson St. Paul
Role Summary/Purpose:
This supervisory position will be responsible for all front of house restaurant, room service and bar functions at the property. You will report property General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise restaurant servers and bartenders
- Participate in the interview and hiring process of department employees alongside AGM, GM.
- Responsible for timely completion of all training and health and safety compliance requirements for employees in the department.
- Train and enforce policies related to cash handling, house accounts, discounts and promotions offered
- Work with AGM on efficient scheduling of employees.
- Ensures that all alcoholic and nonalcoholic items are prepared, portioned and presented properly in a clean, safe and sanitary manner according to local health department regulations.
- Ensures that inventory levels for the bar is properly maintained in accordance with company guidelines through correct ordering procedures and efficient usage.
- Ensure that front of house and bar area are always kept clean, neat and orderly
- Ensure proper operation and choice of entertainment offered in restaurant including televisions and music.
- Required, under certain circumstances, to perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant.
- Serve as a Manager On Duty.
- Cover shifts when scheduled employees are unable to work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
