Description:
Crystal Steel Fabricators, Inc. is looking for experienced truck drivers to serve our Delmar, Delaware and Federalsburg, Maryland locations in a safe and timely manner. While most trips to job sites will be within a few hours of our shop, occasional overnight trips may be necessary. MUST HAVE A VALID CLASS A CDL.
Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from shops and job sites.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents or violations.

Requirements:- Proven work as a commercial truck driver with steel trailer experience
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations (records will be checked)
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Physically able to bend, kneel, stoop and be able to lift 50 lbs
- Valid CDL A license
