Electronics Test Engineer Job at Greenbrier Technical Services, Inc.
GTS is looking for an experienced Electronics Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least a BSEE or BSEET with 2 years of experience developing test equipment and component level troubleshooting skills. Associate degree or other vocational education will be considered based on experience. Experience programming with LabView, C++ and microprocessor programming a plus.
Duties include:
· Analyze and develop test sets and procedures to test and diagnose commercial and industrial circuit boards.
· Understand and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and instructions.
· Plan, coordinate and execute test, troubleshoot, and repair electronics
· Develop test plan and procedures for electronic systems.
· Maintain complete and accurate documentations for system testing.
· Analyze and troubleshoot test defects in a timely manner.
· Perform electronic system testing for acceptance, compliance, warranty, and other types.
· Review the malfunction of the returned devices, troubleshoot, repair, and assemble for final shipment.
· Follow company policies and safety regulations.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Help other departments as needed. (Building circuit boards and other electromechanical assemblies, maintenance, calibration, shipping, etc.)
