JOB TITLE: Food Service Employee

REPORTS TO: Deli Manager and Store Manager

The Food Service Employee shares responsibility for the departments operation with the store to ensure safe food handling.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To greet, satisfactorily serve, and thank the customers for shopping our store.
• To operate all food service equipment safely and efficiently in a manner that conforms to company policy.
• To maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow the cleaning schedule for the department which includes, floors, walls, sub area, pizza area, and equipment.
• To maintain proper sanitation in compliance with Kwik Fill policies, health department regulations, and other government agencies.
• To communicate with management all customer complaints, safety hazards, violations of laws and /or company policies.
• To maintain a neat, personal appearance by following the company dress code. (Apron, hat or visor, gloves, name tag, and a hair restraint to pull back long hair). Facial hair over ½ inch in length will need to be covered.
• To follow the necessary levels and build ups of products available for sale. To maximize sales while still maintaining company levels and goals.
• To make sure all products are coded, rotated and have the proper date, time, and initials. (Cold foods, hot foods, roller grill items, cooler and freezer products).
• To see that any product that is out of date or aged is thrown out and accounted for on the waste sheet.
• Adhere to all company policies contained in the policy manual and food service manual.
• Responsible to make sure the temperature log is done every 4hrs that the store is opened.
• To remain current on all new food service programs.
• To present or reinforce an image that will not be detrimental to Kwik Fill’s name.
• To perform any additional duties and assignments directed by management.ore and monitor the activity of all motor fuel customers. At full serve stores, the Cashier/Attendant will promptly and courteously serve the needs of the motor fuel customer.

The Attendant will:

• customer service,
• Greet customers with a smile,
• Operate the cash register accurately,
• Price, stock, and face merchandise. Stocking merchandise includes, but is not limited to, gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage areas. At times this may entail lifting weights of 50 lbs. or more to accomplish certain stocking requirements,
• Follow all security and safety procedures,
• Account for all shift transactions accurately,
• Present a neat and clean appearance at all times,
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager, for example;
