Wolfjaw Studios is looking to expand our studio in big ways and we need your help! We are an engineering-focused studio based in Troy, NY founded by a passionate team of developers with decades of experience.

Our teams have been trusted to build the systems that power some of the most popular modern multiplayer games. In turn, this has enabled publishers to better engage their player base, help drive esports to the forefront of media, and further improve core game services to provide a better player experience. We work closely with studios and publishers to establish trusting relationships in order for us to deliver products and services that are unique to each of their needs.

Producer candidates interested in joining the Wolfjaw team will find success if they have a background in or are interested in learning the following:

• Tracking complex projects to assist our engineering teams
• Facilitate roadmap planning, day to day task assignments, task estimation and prioritization
• Learning varying production styles to match our clients needs
• Being exposed to a variety of Production Tools (Jira, Github, Clickup, Trello, etc.)
• Ensure the alignment of a project across the team, client and studio
• Keeping pulse on team health to ensure everyone is satisfied
• Escalate any concerns or issues that arise to leadership in a timely manner
• Ability to work with various team dynamics and help foster a positive team culture

As a Producer, you will work on a multi-disciplinary team with engineers, engineering managers, designers, and product managers to create and support the many facets of play. You will report to the Director of Operations.

Relevant Experience

• Effective communicator and collaborator
• Ability to clarify any confusion that may occur during the production cycle
• Lead effective team and department meetings
• Experience in managing multiple schedules across multiple time zones
• A history of delivering on projects/goals in a timely manner and to quality standards
• Familiarity with production methodologies and production concepts such as Waterfall, Agile, Backlog Grooming, Scrums, etc.
• Experience working with teams through full development lifecycles

Pluses:

• A passion for playing and making games
• Experience developing in the entertainment or video game industry
• Experience with engineering-heavy teams or have a technical background
