Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Rooms and in accordance with The Beverly Hills Hotel’s values, policies and procedures:
To act as an ambassador for the guest experience by ensuring the meticulous planning for a seamless guest visit, the nurturing of relationships and fostering guest loyalty.
To oversee the day-to-day operations of Butler team to meet hotel standards & provide consistently seamless guest service experience
To lead, mentor & train the Butler team to provide consistently outstanding and innovative service to our guests.

What you'll do
You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
To lead, motivate & coordinate the Butler team members to enhance performance, achieve department yearly objectives & service standards (people)
To motivate and coach team members and manage shift coverage
To provide day to day direction and allocation of tasks for the team
To conduct induction and on the job training and to ensure all team matrices are complete
To monitor and evaluate team performance and to perform PDP reviews
To maintain an accurate register of team attendance e.g. absence/lateness, overtime
To manage the Butler service area to comply with Hotel & legislative standards and drive business growth & guest satisfaction (business)
- To manage costs & minimize wastage opportunities in the Butler area
To partner with the Floor team to provide an outstanding 5* environment, service & cleanliness
To report any faults in roof suites & ensure repairs are carried out
To ensure adherence & improvement of operational processes & service standards
To ensure all butler team members are enabled to deliver consistently excellent service
To provide flawless personal butler service in assigned Suites to ensure a consistently outstanding and seamless Guest experience (Guest)
To ensure that all nominated guest suites are prepared to the set standard prior to arrival
To manage guest arrival - meet & greet guest in a warm & welcoming manner; ensure smooth check in, ensure special requirements are noted & implemented
To attend to guest requests & requirements in a professional & timely manner in order to achieve the highest levels of service
To display a clear and comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, it’s facilities, what is happening in & around London and to take very opportunity to up-sell the hotel facilities
To ensure all relevant Guest information is effectively logged into the guest history file & communicated to other teams as required
To provide effective day to day communication with guests, colleagues & teams(people)
To manage shift handovers and proactively seek & communicate information
To participate in FOH and Floors management team meetings & to lead department meetings and training sessions
To liaise with other departments to ensure good communication and issue resolution
To ensure the smooth running of the Butler team through effective team work

What you'll bring
- Previous experience as a Butler or High Profile Guest Service role, preferably in a luxury 5* environment
