Job Description

The Credentialing & Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative functions of provider enrollment and Credentials Verification Services. This is a Hybrid position; some of your responsibilities will necessitate office days at the CHS corporate office located in Franklin, TN.

Summary: The Credentialing & Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative functions of provider enrollment and Credentials Verification Services. This is a Hybrid position where some days will be remote and some days will be at the corporate office in Franklin, TN.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Process provider enrollment mail that comes into the corporate office - scan all documents into provider or group files within the credentialing database and notify affected parties of updated information and documentation.
  • Manage roster process to support managed care department and payer requirements for accurate provider rosters.
  • Provide in-office support for remote staff - copying, printing, mailing, shipping, authorized signature needs, office supply ordering, equipment ordering, etc.
  • Monitor the provider enrollment and CAQH group email inboxes - forward any pertinent information to affected parties as needed, upload any documentation/correspondence into provider/group database files.
  • Route and allocate invoices in Lawson; manage expense reimbursement process in Concur.

  • Order office supplies and distribute as needed; provide supplemental administrative support to credentialing and enrollment leadership as needed.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines; Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred Experience: 1 or more years of credentialing/provider enrollment experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Database software.
