As an inside sales and customer service representative, you will play a pivotal role in the growth of Alpine Power Systems inside sales network. Objectives:

  • Act as a pivotal team member of the motive power inside sales team and assist the inside sales team in reaching our monthly revenue goal.
  • Ensure all quotes are responded to within 30 minutes or less.
  • Ensure all quotes are followed up via call and email within 48 hours of quote creation.
  • Follow Alpine Power’s quoting process.
  • Track quote creation and completed sales via Salesforce.


Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Answer customer calls and questions regarding products.
    • Match inventory with customer needs.
    • Follow Salesforce quoting process.
    • Update Salesforce with the customer account and contact information.
    • Send order (freight) tracking information to customers after each shipment.
    • Coordinate rental orders and agreement returns.
    • Set up new customer accounts (Including acquiring credit references).
    • Field warranty claims and work with the Director of Inside Sales to find solutions.
  • Lead Generation and Customer Outreach
    • Assist wholesale team with outreach calls.
    • Update Salesforce with the customer account and contact information from outreach calls.
    • Perform regular inventory analysis and propose strategies on how to move products.
  • Sales Strategy
    • Work with inside sales team members to create product packages.
    • Review lost opportunities weekly and strategize with the inside sales team on how to lower the lost count.
    • Negotiate prices on larger orders.

Basic Qualifications

  • Technologically savvy – well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
