Instructional Designer Job at Windwalker Group
Windwalker is seeking contract mid-senior level instructional designer(s) to join its instructional design team providing analysis, design, development services to support Windwalker Federal and Commercial clients.
This position will be managed from Windwalker’s Tysons Corner, VA (DC Metro area) corporate offices.
Position Overview
Candidates will be responsible for designing training in the Articulate and Captivate programs. We are looking for proven expertise serving as instructional designer of eLearning courses or projects that demonstrate sound instructional principles, strategies and techniques and are SCORM and Section 508 compliant. Ideal candidates have the ability to compile and organize information and write and edit instructional materials to adapt classroom-based courseware and products, reference documents, and raw materials into clear, effective, interactive eLearning training.
Candidates will have significant, proven experience as a member of a team; positive interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation, particularly with clients from a wide variety of cultures.
Work location: Both remote opportunities and Windwalker Northern Virginia office site.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Human Resources, Psychology or other related field and 3-5 years of experience or more OR…
- MA or MS in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Human Resources, Psychology or other related field and 5+ years of professional experience in training design and development.
- Must be experienced in Articulate storyline and Rise.
- Must have a portfolio of examples.
- Experience with Vyond is a plus but not required.
