Intake & Enrollment Specialist - Managed Care Intake Experience Required. Job at Hamaspik Choice
The Intake & Enrollment Specialist is responsible for assisting the Enrollment department with fielding inquiries from potential enrollees and referral sources and assisting potential enrollees with the enrollment process which may include Medicaid applications and recertification’s, coordinating benefits and facilitating plan transfers.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and enrollees and respond to any requests or concerns. The primary goal is to provide information, education and customer service to Hamaspik Choice referral sources and potential enrollees.
- The Enrollment Specialist will provide accommodation for members who require language translations and communication assistance as well.
- Facilitates the enrollment of new members by responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Medicaid eligibility
- Review application prior to submission to CMS
- Upload and maintain CMS calendar
- Follow post enrollment process which includes the following: conduct enrollment verification call within 15 days of application, mail enrollment verification letter
- Administrative tasks given by the supervisor.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of NYS requirements specific to Medicare enrollment and marketing guidelines preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent communication
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
