Landscape Foreman Expectations:

• Working in the field, leading and motivating 1-2 other crew members to accomplish the goals for each shift.
• Direct, oversee, and participate in the work being performed. This position is very hands on, and it is required you be able to perform any task you would ask of your team, and work alongside them.
• Communicate proactively with clients and team members.
• Use Apps and proprietary software to effectively communicate with the office and other team members not on the job site.
• Reads and follows work orders, design concepts, and job site videos.
• Promptly and completely fill out daily checklists after each shift.
• Complete projects on time and accurately by using an effective strategy.
• Represents the core values of Chesapeake Landscapes in appearance, communication with clients/co-workers, and shop/truck cleanliness.
• Company vehicles and equipment are operated safely and efficiently. Truck is kept neat and clean.
• Follows and implements all safety guidelines.
• Increase customer satisfaction through respect and professionalism.

Landscaping Foreman Requirements/Experience:

• 1-2 years of landscape foreman experience.
• Presents a neat and clean appearance.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Arrive on time and ready to work.
• Work all available days during the week (our work week is structured Mon.-Fri.)
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Understands all aspects of landscape maintenance and installation tasks.
• Experienced in using string trimmers, blowers, and other small engine equipment.
• Ability to lead a crew of 1-2 other crew members.
• Ability to read drawings and plans
• Any additional experience in Hardscaping, Swimming pools, Concrete, Excavation, and Remodeling are a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
