JAG Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to join our leadership team. The JAG Healthcare facility is variable and will be based on your strengths. Commute to the facility may be up to 1 hour based on your location. We are searching Richland County, Marion County, and Wanye County for the perfect canidate. The primary purpose of the LNHA job position is to direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. As the Administrator, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to)

  • Oversight and management of all business-related activity for this skilled nursing facility.
  • Assures that the company image as an ethical and high-quality provider of health services is maintained.
  • Lead and motivate our team to meet the diverse needs of those we care for.
  • Possess the ability to effectively manage and promote a team environment.
  • Balance multiple priorities to achieve our vision.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains a state of readiness for surveys.
  • Ensures that written policies and procedures are developed and implemented.
  • Remains current with legislative, regulatory licensure, certification and reimbursement changes that impact the community.
  • Ensures the confidentiality of all resident information and that residents’ rights are maintained.
  • Reviews resident and employee concerns/complaints and maintains written records of action taken. and motivates employees.
  • Fosters a positive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates employees.
  • Oversee and evaluate staff members and department performance to ensure they are in accordance with company policies and procedures and provide developmental guidance to staff for improved performance and growth.
  • Interacts with residents and families to ensure that quality care and positive resident/staff relations are taking place.
  • Maintains open and trust-building relationships with resident family members, responding professionally and promptly to any requests or concerns.
  • Must have experience reporting COVID testing and vaccine data in the NHSN system

Qualifications:

  • NHA License as required by state law.
  • Preferably 2-5 years of Administrator experience within a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing home administration or related field required.
  • Must be organized and detailed in work performance with good communication skills.

  • Are you familiar with NHSN reporting?
  • Do you have experience growing your own leadership team in a facility? (DON, ADON, MDS, HR, Business Office, Medical Records, etc.)?
  • If you have only worked in facilities with stable leadership teams, are you comfortable with the idea of hiring your own team?
