Manufacturing Project Engineer Job at Creative Pultrusions, Inc.
Creative Pultrusions, Inc., a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of structural composites profiles and home of the Creative Composites Group of Companies, is seeking an addition to its manufacturing engineering team.
The Manufacturing Project Engineer is responsible for working on new and existing projects at Creative Pultrusions, Inc. It also has the responsibility of designing, and implementing new equipment and processes under the direction of the Equipment and Facilities Engineer at Creative Pultrusions, Inc
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Involvement in design and manufacture of new equipment and processes for Creative Pultrusions, Inc.
2. Assist in upgrading and maintaining existing equipment and processes for Creative Pultrusions, Inc.
3. Provide technical support to Maintenanceand Production departments when required.
4. Comply with all company safety rules, procedures and OSHA regulations including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, Arc Flash, and PPE.
5. Practice good housekeeping in all areas of direct responsibility using LEAN and 6S principles.
6. Work with production department on implementing and training new processes.
7. Travel as needed for training and company business.
8. Complete any other duties or responsibilities required by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field and 3-6 months industrial experience.
· Entry Level PLC troubleshooting/programming skills a plus
· Entry level understanding of mechanics, electronics, and hydraulics
Must possess good communication skills with the ability to work on multiple projects of various magnitudes simultaneously.
