Manufacturing Supervisor (Machining, 2nd shift)

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Muskegon, MI within the manufacturing industry.

Manufacturing Supervisor Job Summary:

· $65K - $86K salary

· 2nd shift, 2 pm - 10:20 pm

· Ensure production objectives are met, continuous improvement is taking place and that their team members continue to develop and grow in their careers

· Direct the work of others, spanning several operational areas to fully accommodate production needs

· Assist Manager by identifying work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow. Issues written and oral instructions to Area Leaders.

· Review forecasts for production needs, run open order reports and properly assign work to be completed

· Monitor training plans for each individual and meet monthly to review progress, remove roadblocks to ensure continued growth and development

Manufacturing Supervisor Qualifications:

· Bachelors or Associates degree preferred

· Minimum of three years of leadership experience preferred

· Lean manufacturing experience such as 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving and Value Stream Mapping preferred

· Ability to work with ERP systems

· Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint

· Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, from production associates to senior leaders
