Medical Assistant Job at Main Street Medical
We are a busy urgent care/primary care practice on Hilton Head Island that is in need of a Certified Medical Assistant 2 days a week.
Job description:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Rooming and triaging patients including:
Taking BP, measuring height/weight, getting temp, pulse ox
Updating/verifying patient medications, allergies, social and family history and recording it all in the EMR system along with the chief complaint
Phlebotomy and IV skills a must
Able to perform EKGs and administer injections
X-ray experience a plus but not required
Spanish speaker a plus but not required
The right candidate would be very reliable, on time every day, able to multi-task, have excellent customer service skills, keep the rooms stocked and cleaned, keep a supply list of what supplies need to be ordered every week, take out the exam room trash nightly, return calls to patients throughout the day to make sure no messages are remaining after 5pm.
