Medical Biller Job at Progressive Spine and Orthopaedics
URGENTLY HIRING MEDICAL BILLER!
Fast paced, multi-specialty Orthopaedic Surgical Group/Facility seeks an experienced medical biller to join our team. Our company is responsible for submitting claims and appealing underpaid and/or denied claims on behalf of out-of-network providers.
Seeking punctual and dedicated team players with exceptional organization and phone skills!
Candidates must also be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Following up on submitted medical bills (major med, PIP/MVA, & WC)
- Draft appeal letters on behalf of providers and patients in order to overturn insurance denials/underpayments, and to reduce patient responsibility.
- Answer phones and handle inquiries (i.e. patients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, etc.)
- Communicate with patient attorneys in order to resolve outstanding balances (including negotiating settlements)
- Any and all administrative tasks requested by management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
