We are currently seeking an experienced Production Associate to join our Cameron Cultivation Center. This individual will be trained to be an asset for both our post-harvest department as well as our packaging department. Individual will be required to accurately and efficiently harvest and trim cannabis plant matter; accurately and efficiently measure, package, and inventory various products as directed by managers and supervisors.

The position requires attention to detail, general computer skills, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Must possess maturity, a strong work ethic, and accountability, along with a passion for cannabis.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Correctly pack, fill, label, and organize finished goods into respective containers/packaging
  • Train and effectively trim cannabis plants according to the standards given
  • Create and apply labeling in accordance with product information, testing results, and correct customer information
  • Precisely maintain forms and databases to record weight, product count, and issues
  • Provide timely updates and issues to managers on a daily / weekly basis
  • Properly weigh and package raw product in accordance with company standard operating practices
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials and products to ensure packaging specifications are met
  • Thoroughly clean containers, materials, supplies or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
  • Utilize Metrc to properly retrieve, deduct and relocate ordered product (Training provided upon hire)
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in shipping/receiving, creating packages, manifests is recommended but not required.
  • Previous experience working with concentrates or edibles recommended but not required
  • Previous experience working in a post-harvest setting recommended but not require
  • Ability to comply with safety requirements.
  • Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.
