Purpose of Role: Support all aspects of Maintenance Welding, as well as contribute in other areas of the maintenance team.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will have a combination of working knowledge in Stick and MIG welding. They may also contribute in other electrical, mechanical, mobile, fabrication, or pneumatics/hydraulics fields, and demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in multiple departments.
Essential Duties/Functions
- Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keep plant equipment in good mechanical repair
- Respond in a timely manner to work orders and management requests
- Be able to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans and equipment instructions
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy

Participate in safety programs, ensure work area is clean and free of any hazards, have a good work ethic, have a good attendance record, maintain a positive attitude in the workplace, follow the policies and work instructions set forth, and participate in lean initiatives
