The Monitoring Infrastructure Engineer will monitor and provide support to the Network System leading the development and maintenance of application and system performance tools.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and assistance to internal customers and other ISD staff
• Recommend, develop, and maintain standard operating procedures for supported systems
• Create, review and modify diagrams, schematics and other technical documents and templates
• Conduct engineering and technical research and make recommendations on proposed solutions; anticipates and adjusts for potential problems (Patching-EOL/EOS Dates- Zero Day Vulnerabilities…etc

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of network architecture, protocols, routing, switching technologies
• Strong knowledge of application infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of on-prem to SaaS connections (Equinix Cloud Exchange/AWS Direct Connect/Google Cloud Provider)
• Proficient with one or more of the following tools:
• LogicMonitor
• ExtraHop
• Broadcom APM / Spectrum
• Dynatrace
• Grafana
• Moogsoft
• Splunk
• Experience with the MS Server Operating Systems (2012/2016/2019)
• Experience with the Linux Server Operating Systems
• Experience trouble shooting errors related to MS and Linux Operating systems
• Experience with the Splunk Cloud Architecture

Desired Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Technology (or qualifying information technology certifications)
• Experience working in the financial industry
