North Atlanta Sales Associate-Home and Decor Ideas (REMOTE with some fieldwork) Job at Clipper Magazine LLC
Overview
The role of the Sales Associate is to support Sales Representatives in the market by providing stellar customer service, relationship management and product up-selling. This position is field based and a natural progression into a Sales Representative position.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, service and increase sales for existing account base
- Handles any client request or concern in the assigned account base
- Cold call and generate leads for assigned sales executives to sell
- Interface with internal departments as well as client to ensure smooth flow of work
- Deliver books, pick up checks, ad copy as needed
- Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers. Exchange semi-routine information related to assigned activities
- Able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years customer service and/or outside/inside sales experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong cold calling skills
- Problem solving ability a must
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to multi-task and meet magazine deadlines
- Flexible in handling different situations
COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS
Effective communication skills – on the phone and written correspondence
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS
- Position is remote and will require daily travel
- Valid state issued driver's license and proof of auto insurance
