OVERVIEW:
Radio One is currently looking for a Operational Analyst to join our One VIP team!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the analysis of cardholder dispute and chargeback cases, assisting with investigations as necessary
  • Ensure disputes and chargeback cases are managed and decisioned in accordance with regulatory and Visa guidelines, e.g., Regulation E
  • Optimize dispute and chargeback case processing to mitigate and minimize financial loss to Urban One
  • Maintain tracking for dispute and chargeback cases to monitor decision rates and dispute trends
  • Resolve fraud cases caused by program controls and review fraud reports for exception activity
  • Engage and collaborate with the Fraud, Operations and Compliance team members to identify and mitigate fraudulent activity
  • Work with and manage third party service providers as applicable on dispute and chargeback processes
  • Compile and evaluate data points to advise on future operations strategy recommendations
  • Other operational duties in support of the ONE VIP program
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrable experience with dispute and chargeback processing from dispute intake to dispute decisioning
  • Demonstrable experience with fraud mitigation controls and monitoring within a financial services program
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Prepaid Card and payment industry practices for program management
  • Diverse working knowledge of bank related laws (federal and state) and regulations, PCI, Regulation E, BSA, AML/ATF, CIP, Fraud, Identity theft, network operating rules and settlement
  • Experience with dispute processing and fraud mitigation with a financial services program
  • Knowledge of the Visa DPS Processing platform is advantageous
  • Analytical understanding or experience with data insights a big plus
  • Ability to work independently, quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Diligent work ethic is a must; flexible weekend/evening schedules
  • Comfortable working as a team player in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
  • Customer centric approach to promoting positive customer experiences
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2-3 years of relevant experience with debit or prepaid chargebacks and disputes. Bachelor’s degree, Business, Finance or Data Analysis is preferred, otherwise must have a combination of applicable education and experience, have strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
