The Role:

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative, you will drive outbound prospecting towards our ICPs. You will be responsible for providing our prospective clients with an A+ customer experience, and identifying potential opportunities based on our prioritization framework.

You will be a member of the U.S. Business Development team, and work alongside a vibrant group of ambitious sales professionals. This role will provide ample opportunity to learn, and is an ideal fit for someone who is getting started in their Business Development career and has a desire to grow. Your other day-to-day responsibilities might include:

  • Work with the latest, cutting-edge technology in sales and marketing

  • Ensuring data transparency through of all your touchpoints (daily)

  • Heavy outbound prospecting

  • Supporting our leadership team with market research, including lead information gathering (weekly)

  • Attending Business Development coaching sessions (Curiosity is a Talentful value!) (weekly)

  • Collaborating with Marketing to ensure targeting of ideal prospects (biweekly)

  • Working together with our Client Experience team to collect valuable insights on past projects which might be relevant to our current prospects (as needed)

  • Community building through supporting the Partnership Development team with virtual events (as needed)

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 2+ years of outbound sales development experience

  • A structured, organized approach to work

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English

  • Interest in consultative selling - you are able to bring empathy, active listening, and a strong understanding of Talentful’s value proposition into every conversation

  • Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders

  • Curiosity and candour. You're keen to learn and comfortable with asking questions. You seek support when it’s needed

  • Experience in a client-facing position for a high-growth B2B brand is a bonus, but not required

The cash compensation range we have provided has been benchmarked against similar organizations of a comparable size, sector and age. Our offers of employment take a variety of factors into consideration, including but not limited to, unique skill sets, specific expertise or certifications and business/organizational needs. We have not adjusted the range for differing geographical locations, which we take into consideration when building equitable offers. It is not typical for us to hire in talent at the top of the range for a role, in part because it’s so important to us to allow all Talentful employees the opportunity to develop over time, and to feel rewarded for doing so. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is 60,000 - 72,000 USD with uncapped commission. In addition to the cash compensation, the majority of employees at Talentful are eligible to participate in our Stock Options scheme.
