Job Summary:

The Outpatient Therapy Services Program Manager will be responsible for supervision and day to day operations of the outpatient therapy operations across Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties. This position requires a master's degree in the human services field as well as an applicable Florida License (LMHC, LCSW or LMFT) as well as 3 years of supervisory experience in the mental health field.

• Ability to problem solve client and staff issues.
• Attend all PRC clinical and administrative functions as deemed appropriate by the Senior Director of Clinical Services.
• Position requires that the individual maintain all mental health credentials and licensure.
• Position requires that the individual maintains compliance with all PRC training requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

Master's degree in mental health field required.

Experience:

At least 3 years of supervisory experience in the mental health field

Certifications:

LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Position requires that the individual has the capability to operate and supervise the outpatient program in multiple locations (both traditional settings and integrated settings).
• Position requires that individual has the ability to manage all SAMH, TANF, Medicare, Medicaid and commercial contracts in order to ensure compliance as it relates to outpatient operation.
• Position requires that the individual has the ability to assist in the use of an electronic health record system.
• Position requires that the individual has the capability to supervise outpatient therapists in a fair and consistent manner and has the ability to address internal and external issues in a highly professional manner.
• Position requires that the individual maintains a high level of professionalism and ethics.
• Position requires that the individual assures program wide compliance with all therapist performance plans.
• Position requires that the individual have excellent communication skills to provide supervision of staff.
• Position requires that the individual generally understands the psychopathology of both adult and child mental health issues as related to the DSM.
• Position requires that the individual is capable of providing mental health diagnosing using DSM criteria.
• Position requires that the individual can perform therapy with an emphasis on evidence based practice approaches.
• Position requires that the individual is capable of providing treatment for co-occurring disorders or is willing to learn the required techniques and interventions to provide therapy.
• Position requires that the individual possess a high quality of written and verbal capabilities.
• Position requires that the individual is capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Position requires that the individual is able to manage time efficiently.
• Position requires that written documentation be completed with organizational guidelines.
• Position requires flexibility and the ability to prioritize various job functions.
• Position requires the ability to manage and submit weekly timesheets of outpatient staff.
• Position requires the ability to accept additional tasks as deemed necessary by the Senior Director of Clinical Services.

Work Environment:

Exposure to advise working conditions due to people who are mentally ill, who may be psychotic, who may present some exposure to communicable diseases, be verbally abusive or present a threat of violence.
