Creminelli Fine Meats is growing its salami manufacturing operations and currently has openings for packaging associates and material handlers.

The standard shift runs Monday – Friday from 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM.

DESCRIPTION:

The Packaging Associate reports directly to the Packaging Supervisor and is responsible for packaging salami products into final packaging and placing cases of finished goods onto pallets. The Packaging Associate must follow best practices of operating in a USDA facility and help with efforts to continuously improve processes in a lean environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handling and moving Ready to Eat (RTE) products in a safe and efficient way
• Weighing, cutting and separating finished salami products
• Placing, labeling, and boxing finished salami products according to stated standards
• General cleaning and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and employee areas
• Moving racks and bins with product
• Other duties and requirements as assigned by a supervisor or manager
• Adhere to all company policies and USDA standards of safe food production

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent; experience in a food manufacturing facility is a plus but not a requirement
