Part-Time Food Service Aide Job at Rice Community Healthcare
Rice County District Hospital is seeking a part time Food Service Aide to fill a part time position in our Food and Nutrition Department. This is a part-time position, with around 20 hours a week.
The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, have a willingness to learn, and can work in a team environment.
Candidate is required to pass a background check, a pre-employment physical, and a drug screen. HIPAA compliance is mandatory for all employees of the healthcare system.
Job Description:
Prepares and cooks meals for patients, employees, and visitors
Confers with Food Production Supervisor or the Dietician regarding food needs, modified diets, and/or menu changes
Operates commercial and large scale cooking equipment and appliances
Setting up food stations, basic food preparation, maintaining food temperatures and ensuring safe food handling practices
Performs a variety of routine kitchen, tray line or cafeteria duties depending on area assigned
Occasionally heavy lifting of up to 70 pounds
Frequently lifting of up to 50 pounds
All other duties as assigned
