The Teresa House is a two-bed comfort care home located in Geneseo, NY. We are seeking Per Diem Nurses (RN or LPN) to work floating shifts as needed. Shifts are 7 AM - 11 AM and the nurse would be on-call until 7 AM the next day. They would also be rotated into the weekend on-call schedule. This would be a perfect job for a retired nurse who wants occasional work hours.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are a must. The right candidate should be knowledgeable in caring for the terminally ill and performing tasks such as administering medication and providing emotional support. Our goal is to help patients live their final days with dignity and comfort, delivering quality end-of-life care.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with co-workers and other professionals to plan care
• Maintaining accurate records
• Making accurate assessments to evaluate resident's condition
• Notifying the nurse supervisor of a patient's condition when deemed necessary
• Providing support and comfort according to individual resident's needs
• Working with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient care
• Setting up and administering medication
• Alleviating sudden symptoms of the disease's end phase
• Helping relatives cope with the upcoming loss and providing post-mortem support

Hourly rate varies with experience - base rate is $16.50/hour. If interested, please submit your cover letter, resume and references.
