The High Risk Pregnancy Center is a nationally recognized maternal-fetal medicine practice, one of the largest in the U.S., leading the way in procedures, technology and patient care. We are currently seeking an additional full time Registered Nurse to join our team of RNs, maternal-fetal medicine physicians and Nurse Practitioners. Competitive salary based on experience. Duties:

• Demonstrate current professional and/or technical knowledge and skills; e.g. Fetal Assessments including NST’s, CST’s, BPP’s and limited ultrasounds.
• Identify high risk factors and assess health and well-being of patients/fetus and provide necessary patient education.
• Understand medications used in pregnancy to treat conditions; e.g. HTN, diabetes, clotting disorders.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Diabetes Nurse Practitioners and Genetic Counselors.
• Remain compassionate and friendly in high risk pregnancy clinic.
• Document care provided in electronic medical record and imaging systems.
• Consistently demonstrate effective communication skills and able to multitask.
• Consistently apply new knowledge relevant to clinical practice.

• AIUM Accreditation for ultrasound, fetal echocardiography
• American Diabetes Association recognized Diabetes Education Program (First in state of Nevada for MFM)

• Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Labor and Delivery Experience
• Active RN license in the state of Nevada or the ability to acquire a Nevada license.
• Applicant must be highly organized, self-motivated, ambitious, and have the drive to excel.
