Looking for an amazing Physical Therapist to join our clinic! Clinics near Capitola, California and Los Gatos, California. Salary range $110,000.00 to $135,000.00 based on experience. New grads are encouraged to apply.

GENERAL SUMMARY: We are looking to hire a full-time physical therapist to run the physical portion of our Functional Restoration Program at two locations (Capitola and Los Gatos). The Functional Restoration Program is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation program designed to help injured workers with chronic pain regain function and return to an active and fulfilling lifestyle. The program consists of a small group of outpatients who attend a 8-week long rotation (5 days each week) complete with a variety of classes throughout the day aimed toward increasing functional ability and psychological wellbeing.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Evaluation and treatment of individual patients. Combine patient education, hands on care and exercise instruction in comprehensive 60-minute visits. Patient load is approximately 7 individuals per day. Deliver pain neuroscience education to individual patients and groups. Opportunities to collaborate with the medical and psychology teams while co-treating patients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The ideal candidate will possess the following: California Physical Therapy License Strong orthopedic assessment skills Knowledge of pain neuroscience including the ability to educate patients with chronic pain conditions Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously. Working knowledge of myofascial release techniques and manual therapy skills is a plus. Experience with EMR documentation preferred but will train. Ability to establish rapport with patients, families, professionals, and co-workers. Able to work with patients and equipment using sound judgment. An attitude of excellence in providing quality patient care. We will provide training for new graduates.
