Production Manager Pay: $110,000/yr.
Production Manager Overview:
Under the direction and supervision of the President and in cooperation with other Team Members, responsible for organizing and coordinating office and production operations, maximizing efficiency, supervising office and production staff.
Production Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production scheduling.
- Administer effective processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate material inventory replenishment processes based on production schedules, current inventory, customer orders and forecasts.
- Facilitate document control and integrity of blueprints, material certifications, and quality information by maintaining the tracking and retention processes required internally and by customers.
- Process any additional required reports (i.e., tracking actual hours worked).
- Maintain the required maintenance schedule and service requests for all machines being utilized.
- Remove roadblocks for teams, while mentoring them to do the same for themselves.
- Engage, coach, and develop employees to thrive in a team environment.
- Direct supervision of any additional Office staff and the Fabrication Production Lead.
- Indirect supervision and oversight for the fabrication production staff.

- The ability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, include the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.
- Compiles and completes special reports based on internal and external data
- Receives, addresses, and routes phone and email communication as needed
- Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer
- Maintain logistical contacts to support deliveries and daily operations
- Maintains Open Order Status Reports, work order files
- Coordinates with Shipping for documentation
- Monitors key reports to establish and support operational objectives
Production Manager Education and Experiences:
- Minimum of five years in a similar role, preferably in trailer manufacturing industry.
- High School Diploma
- Strong computer skills (MS business applications, QuickBooks, and various reporting software.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen.
- Knowledge of Production Scheduling and Inventory Control.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other schematic drawings.
- Project management, business writing and reporting skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Solid business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills
