HNN Communities is seeking a full-time Senior Project Specialist to join our team in Bellevue, WA. The Senior Project Specialist acts as a project manager for large and new system projects companywide while providing exceptional customer service.

Pay Details: $65K-$95K/year

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage HNN projects (and those spanning into other entities, as needed), with a focus on large, new system and delayed projects.
  • Review backlog of needed improvements, prioritize and implement as able.
  • Support the management of project requests and short-term projects, as needed.
  • Initiate, plan, manage and deliver specific projects in conjunction with the responsible department.
  • Facilitate the vetting and decision making around new programs, processes and policies.
  • Execute appropriate project management plan documentation and conversations, varying by project size, before project onset.
  • Assess the appropriate methodologies and tools for existing and upcoming projects and manage said projects using these tools.
  • Coordinate the necessary people, departments and processes to deliver projects in a timely fashion and with the desired outcomes.
  • Act as a point of liaison between the project team and stakeholders.
  • Ensure regular communication between the project team and stakeholders.
  • Support the department in communication oversight for HNN, ensuring the communication is accurate and consistent.
  • Plan, monitor and report regularly to stakeholders (as defined in the project management plan) on project progress.
  • Identify, document and mitigate risks which may impact the project success.
  • Adjust needed changes in project scope, resource allocation and/or schedule.
  • Manage the oversight of New Community setup tasks for HNN departments (and those spanning into other entities, as needed) as an ongoing responsibility.
  • Support the Senior Operations Specialist in managing and responding to inquires through the operations shared email inbox(s) in a timely manner.
  • Provide informational support over transitioned tasks related to new community setups, including but not limited to, Parking Boss, Amenity Boss, Moco, Blue Moon, NAA, WMFHA, and SharePoint team sites.
  • Helps to execute special projects in Smartsheet (and other programs, as needed) in conjunction with the Senior Operations Specialist, as needed.
  • Provide operational support, as assigned.
  • Represent the company at annual conferences, industry related events and meetings as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management, including providing Operations team coverage as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings. Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects as assigned.
  • Attend training classes as scheduled and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Prefer at least 3 to 5 years of experience working in multi-family property management.
  • Prefer bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited institution.
  • 3 to 5 years of extensive Fair Housing Training from diverse organizations such as HUD, local/state agencies, WMFHA/NAA, NAHMA, NFHA, Fair Housing Councils, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screen required.
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines.
