Straightening Worker Job at Miller Castings INC
SUMMARY
Uses a variety of tools and machinery to straighten steel, stainless steel and aluminum castings.
Pay Scale $ 17.00 - $19.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Retrieves, stores and maintains calibration status.
Interprets technique for instructions on straightening of castings.
Uses measuring tools and machinery such as calipers, ice tongs, height gauges, indicators, surface plates, fixtures, hammers/mallets, pin gauges, radius gauges, feeler gauges, press, high temperature oven.
Verifies calibration status of measurement equipment prior to use.
Verifies router to confirm prior, current and next operation.
Checks in/out work in process operations.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Less than High School education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2- 1st Shift- Hours are from 6:00am - 2:30pm
Overtime Work if needed- depending on department demands.
