Position Summary
The Supervisor Projects will be responsible for managing the construction and quality assurance team while providing inputs into constructability reviews for studies. You will have the overall responsibility for project construction management and administration. You will manage or supervise management of relevant capital projects which are not directly managed by the Corporate Engineering Department, which will include all safety, design, implementation and closure of the projects.
Responsibilities

Safety - Maintain and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

Project Management - Manage the Owner’s construction and quality assurance team with sufficient construction experience providing inputs into constructability reviews for studies.

Contractor Management - Provide support to construction activities by providing technical support to contractors.

Coordination - Coordination between the construction team and other functions, ie. engineering, sourcing/contracting, project controls and risk management including coordination of commissioning and handover activities into operations.
Qualifications

Experience in an industrial processing facility is required.

Maintenance, engineering, industrial construction and/or project management experience is preferred.

Proficient in English. Other languages are an asset.
