A day in the life…

The Team Leader, CVS/Rite Aid is responsible for leading the overall business, strategy, and customer development for CVS/Rite Aid. In this role you will be responsible for creating both short and long-term strategies that drive POS, Net Sales, Share, and Gross Profit. You will also work collaboratively with Russell Stover's Sales Strategy, Marketing, Demand Planning, Category Management, and Retail Operations Teams. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for creating best-in-class customer relationships and long-term Joint Business Planning with CVS/Rite Aid. This position reports to the Director, Drug Channel.

What you will be doing…

  • Build and nurture the day-to-day relationship with CVS/Rite Aid buyers, analysts, and item specialists
  • You will be a customer expert capable of driving growth and over-delivering company objectives
  • Develop and execute assortment reviews for key customers
  • Develop and execute new item presentations to meet current and future objectives.
  • Responsible for building an annual budget, managing monthly revenue expectations, and confirming customer commitments

(Basic Qualifications)

  • 5 years of experience in a combination of sales, category management, and/or sales analytics
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Sales functional leadership
  • Aggressive, results-oriented individual with a winning attitude
  • Strong analytical acumen - promotional planning, performance analysis, and forecasting
  • Strong financial acumen - basic understanding and influence of customer P&Ls and the ability to manage a trade budget
  • Excellent project and time management skill set to proactively lead corporate cross-functional groups to meet established timelines and expectations
  • Clear customer objectives and strategic business plan to obtain distribution and Category dollar share
  • Capable of leveraging consumption data with a clear understanding of the customer strategy and landscape
  • Excellent communication skill set

(Preferred Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree, M.B.A preferred
  • Direct CPG account management experience, CVS/Rite Aid experience preferred
  • CPG knowledge and experience, Chocolate category experience preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership internally and externally
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with promotional planning/deduction management systems or proven experience with financial management related to promotional product spending, travel and entertainment expense management, and creating financial recommendations utilizing basic ROI analysis
  • High level of follow-up, availability, and responsiveness to internal and external partners
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Exhibit a high level of focus and account penetration using sophisticated analysis and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability in public speaking and making effective customer presentations
