Trust Operations Specialist - Waterloo or Reinbeck, IA Job at Lincoln Savings Bank
Provides administrative and operational support to the Trust department by executing administrative and operational processes and procedures and assisting with department projects.
Perform operational systems support, daily review, and tax reporting of Retirement plans (Health Savings, all varieties of IRAs, Coverdell Educational Savings Accounts) for Trust department customers.
Monitors customer accounts to assure that contribution limits are not exceeded.
Provides resolutions if issues do arise.
Perform daily entry of trust documents/bills to be paid using the Trust Accounting Software.
Develop a working knowledge of investments, tax and legal matters, and estate and financial planning as they relate to trust business.
Maintains customer Trust and retirement records via electronic files. Reviews, schedules, and processes disbursements for Trust department clients.
Act as a backup for the Trust Operations and Service Manager.
Participates in civic, community and networking events for the purpose of cultivating productive relationships for Lincoln Savings Bank.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Necessary Skills and Attributes
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Previous customer service experience
1 to 3 years previous experience in the financial services industry preferred
Preferred knowledge of trust products and services
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Provides excellent customer service
